The answer is this regarding the BlackBerry Messenger audit policy:

When PwDiamond wrote "When auditing is enabled, all BlackBerry Messenger messages sent to or received from the device are stored in a database on the device. A report of the database is periodically sent to the Messenger audit address"

We would see the report in the Outlook sent email section right?

On the subject of privacy can a 'real' person of BB phone number be identified from the PIN number? I have a user that linked to someone using the PIN but is now recieving offensive messages - I know I can just block it but would really like to get hold of this person.

    Many thanks
    Steve

No, you can't get their number from the PIN. If the harassment becomes criminal then law enforcement can use that PIN to get info from RIM to identify that user but otherwise I think blocking is your only option.

    PIN - Number

Thanks for the quick response - I thought as much - I will have to write a policy for my users so they don't just add PINs without a good idea of who is on the other end! - same as the internet I guess!

    Best Regards
    Steve

Does BB10 have different privacy concerns that the average guy needs to know about?

I have 2 phones but I'd like to cancel one if my company won't be able to monitor my activities once the new BB10 phones are out
