GAL Lookups gone!
Today i have one user that doesn't get the GAL Lookup feature anymore. I have resent service books but still can't get it to work. The user stated he had to pull the battery about a week ago becuase the device locked up. The problem seems to have surfaced after the pull.
Any suggestions as to what the issue may be and how to resolve?
Here are some things you might want to try.
Delete the Desktop [ALP] service book from the blackberry. Reboot the Blackberry device by removing and then re-inserting the battery. If this fails, retry sending the service books from the server. If this fails as well, wipe the handheld. Make sure content protection is enabled on the blackberry so the device can also perform a scrub. This will take a long time complete. After this is done, redo the enterprise activation on the Blackberry. This should resolve the issue for you.
I have troubleshooted these issues before and for me this would normally reoslve the issue.
