We have a BES 4.1 and I have a 8330 from verizon. Everything is working great, My inbox is syncing emails, except I have a folder that helpdesk emails get directed to, in my outlook inbox and I dont know how to get that folder to sync.
On your Blackberry open your mail.
Hit the Menu Key
Select Email Settings
Hit the Menu Key
Select Folder Redirection
From there you can expand your Inbox and select which folders you want to go to you BB. I have a help desk folder as well, but I only have it go to the BB when I'm on call.

When I get to folder redirection, it just shows an icon for desktop, and doesn't allow me to expand my inbox.
1. Logon to your BES server.
2. Start BlackBerry Manager.
3. Look up your user and right click.
4. Click on "Choose Folders for Redirection.
5. Click the radio button "Redirect the following selected folders".
6. Click "OK" to save.
7. Folder should now be syncronised to the BlackBerry unit, this might take some time.
Hi everyone, i am having the same problem as jeff2jay, but i have followed all the step with regards to enabling folder redirection on the handheld and mailbox.
all i see if the desktop icon.
running bes v4.1 with exchange 2003 enterprise sp2
it seems to only effect one user, i have it working for other people.
any help would be awesome
I went to email settings on my desktop manager and configured the folders from there, maybe not the best way, but it works for me.
Do you mean the bes server itself?

Yes you can change the settings in Desktop Manager as well.
But you should have the options on the device as well
