Fixing "HTTP Error 413: Request Entity Too Large"

All my users receive the above when trying to download anything over 100k or so via their BlackBerry browser. It appears there used to be a fix for this:

Unfortunately that seems to apply to an earlier version of BES as I don't have the option described there. I am using BES 4.1.3.18, and if anyone can help me with this I will be extremely grateful.

Hi, I get this problem using the WAP Browser or BB Browser, but works OK (to download files or movies) using the Internet Browser...

Its in the MDS_CS properties. Change the session limit to its max of 1024K. Then you can load conent of up to 1 Mb in size. The default is much lower.

A session is essentially a single request. So you want to download a video, MDS goes off and gets it for you. That session is limited to the value above. Be cautious with this though because if all of your user suddently start downloading conent of 1Mb in size, your MDS_CS CPU usage is going to get really high.
Ofcourse if you have to do it, you can always move MDS_CS to it's own server.

Excellent, that looks like just the job thanks! I can't see where I can change the MDS_CS properties though, I only know where to create the MDS_CS to BES mapping.
