Exchange 2003 / BES 4.1. 4 - ETP not clearing from user inbox

    ~Hi All,

I am having an issue geting my BES Pro to work.
We've installed vanil;la exchange and bes and have fresh handhelds.

when activating the handheld the etp mail gets to the users inbox, but does not
    delete itself.
Handheld sticks on activating and does not go any further.

I believe that there is some relationship between the BES and exchange that i am missing - any ideas.

    Many Thanks

Hopefully you installed bes under a new domain account called besadmin

besadmin need administrator role for the server, not domain admin or exchange admin etc.

Then you have to apply the exchange permissions correctly.

It could be a rights issue indeed, on ESM, open Admin groups, server, and rightclick your storage group where you accout is, start by adding full rights to your bes service account, if this doesnt work then make sure the service account is running in your BES server and has rights to run as a service.

If still have problems, try adding EVERYONE to that storage group and see if it works, if it doesnt, then you have done something wrong installing BES.

Remember to fix the rights after playing with it, you do want a secure system.
