Enterprise activation succeeds, no messages synching

    Hello Pinstackers,

Got an easy one for you (I hope). My 7130e successfully did an enterprise activation a year ago and was working great with BES. Had to wipe it the other day (fat-fingered my password too many times, doh).

Wiped it, did enterprise activation OTA, and success! Contacts, calendar info, tasks, and old messages appeared.

Problem is, no new messages are going out from the device, and none are coming in. It's been about 6 hours since enterprise activation.

Appreciate any insight you folks might have. Thanks!

Howdy. Try resending the service books see if that helps any.

How do you resend service books-- is that the process where you delete them and then connect the BB to your desktop again to reload?

Go to the Setup Internet EMail icon on your device>Service Books>Send Service Books>Send All.

If you're on a BES delete your service books in the blackberry first, then do register nows in host routing table, then go into the BES and resend service books and IT policies if applicable on your user profile (bes 4.0 right click on user and go to admin and resend svc books, bes 4.1 click on user and in the lower window pane go to IT admin and resend svc books)

Great, worked like a charm, thanks everyone.

And ironically we migrated to another exchange server this week and so I have to do enterprise activation again for the new BES/exchange... at least I'm an expert!
