    enterprise activation missing?

I just got a 8700g from TMobile and the "Enterprise Activation" link is missing from home screen/applications. It is not hidden either and I just got this a day or so ago.. On another one that we have here it does have it and it was purchased at the same exact time.. I use BIS so I don't really care.. but I just thought it was kind of bizarre... Any ideas? Thanks!

    not there... kind of weird...

is it possible that since there was a previous blackberry on the SIM card beforehand that was set up on BIS that it knew that i wouldnt need enterprise..?

i am just worried about there being some sort of fluke with it not showing up that might make it die later..

Icon is disabled by T-Mobile. You need full Data Plan. If you do wipe handheld it will return, the minute you turn wireless on and connect to their network it will go away.

You're not missing anything by that icon not showing up on your home screen. Like the previous stackers have told you that you can access it should you need to set up your Berry on BES. Yet, if you're not going to set up your Berry on BES, then why even worry about it. You're worrying yourself for no reason at all. It won't change the functionality of your BB. Some users are on BES via their companies and others choose to get on BES by using Link2Exchange or some other type of access. That's totally dependent upon your needs and you really don't have to be set up on BES for your BB to work.

If you Reregister with T-mo you get all new service books pushed down to the device and in Enterprise Activation is missing then it reappears. What OS you handheld? if less then 4.z you wont have EA listed

Just delete all the service books and the icon will appear again.

What happens if your device is configured (or had been) for BIS is your device will download service books from the web client as soon as you turn your device on (even after a handheld wipe). Once your device has service books the enterprise activation icon will be removed.
