Question Device info not populating on BES

On my company's BES, most users show up with all their BB device info populated in the user list. However, for a handfull of users it doesn't show their BlackBerry Device, Serial Number or Memory, ie anything device-specific, although it does show the PIN and the last forward time etc. They are using the same device and software version (8700, 4.2.1.94) as other users whose info does show. Anyone got any ideas how I can get this info to show? We use it for audit purposes so it would be quite handy. Have tried battery pulls on the devices and resending Service Books but no joy.

You could de activate on the BES, and reactivate to see if that will repopulate the BES manager....

I am sure a more experienced BES expert can help you out.... So bump!

Yeah, I would do what chatster stated and remove them completely from the BES, delete the "[Desktop]" service books on that device, re-add them to the BES and re-activate the user.

    This should solve the problem.

Good luck and post back with any continuing problems...

I had 7 or so out of 91 that were like that. After I updated to SP5, I now only have 3. Leads me to believe it has to do with SQL...perhaps a reactivation would fix it...although I have seen a reactivation cause it too.

Thanks for the answers folks, unfortunately I tried complete removal and reactivation but still no joy! We're hopefully installing SP5 soon so I'll see if that does the trick.
