    Curve not following Outlook rules

Hi I have a question. We are running the Blackberry Enterprise Server with MS Exchange. I have a Blackberry Curve that I would like to not follow the users Outlook rules. Is this possible? In other words my user has rules set for his Outlook which he does not wish to change. He has Outlook take certain emails and put them into folders. He would like his Blackberry Curve to leave all emails in his Blackberry Inbox. Is there a way to accomplish this?

    Thanks in advance.

Re: Curve not following Outlook rules

The best suggestion would be to set the 'hide filed messages' option to NO on the users BB. This meaning that when user has read a message that has a rule attached in Outllook, the mail wont disappear out of the inbox.

This is under E-mail > General Options > Hide Filed Messages...

    Hope that this helps....

Thanks, that does help. Just let me ask one question I'm a novice here so bear with me. Do I make this setting change to the BB or to the enterprise server?

Yes. Change folder redirection on the BlackBerry and add the folders the user wants to see (on their BlackBerry's Message index). This is Messages, options, Email setting, (menu button) from the menu select folder redirection from there expand their folder and select the folders they want redirected...now those emails will show up when delivered, but only to the main messages list.

    Hope that helps!
