    Complete BES policy Removal

I have had a look through the forum and couldn't find any solution for the following problem:-

On a 7730 and my mates 8700g which were originally purchased from Ebay they had been connected to BES and had a policy, I followed one of many instructions to remove the policy by downloading a file and editing the registry, not a problem this worked to a certain degree.

After using the policy removal instructions and download, I was able to disable passwords and load 3rd party software - it no longer said it was part of a IT Policy.

However on both this 8700g and 7730 after doing the above, I noticed that the Firewall option was Enabled and there was NO WAY of changing it even using Reset Settings, tried complete Wipe Device... etc but no joys.

What made me think of it again is that I bought an 8700g from Ebay which was brand new, I noticed that it gave me FULL control over the firewall options, because it was NEW and had never been connected to a BES. So, is there a better policy removal tool to get around this? - or is this some other issue? - just logic does say that because mine was never connected with a restrictive IT policy that the removal tool is not doing as much as it could/or possibly can? - anyone else had the same issues?

Also I am finding my 8700g connects on services such as WAP and others, where as my mates 8700g and 7730 does NOT, due to Firewall enabled and no obvious way of changing it!!

Never heard of an ALT command to show the policy; Easier to just go to the Security Options; General Settings page

well its not a ALT command , but you type in 4 letters when your in there and the display changes at the bottom and shows IT Policy enabled or it doesn't. The command is something like BUFY

This would be a dangerous code to know, never heard of it. I'd love to figure it out though.
