Change memory capacity on Pearl 8120

Have a new blackberry pearl 8120 and downloaded the new OS. Everything is working real well. I noticed on a forum that someone had recommended another person who also owned the Pearl 8120 to make sure they had their memory to manimum. Go to media> options>and my memory was at 5mb the lowest they allowed. It also had 12mb and 15mb. My queston is should II change it to maximum 15mb??? It would seem the most maximum would do nothing but help??????

    Thank You
    Vinny

Keep use of device memory at the lowest and use a memory card for media. You don't have a lot of device memory on your BlackBerry Pearl.

Thank you for imfo. Does lowering the memory make the phone faster? I lowered it to where it was originally. 5mb.

yes it does make the available phone memory more and thus more memory and more space to operate the files.
