Can you change a BIS 7100v to work on a BES

Does anyone have any ideas how to get this done?

We are running BES v 4.0, and the handset is I think a BIS one that we purchased on eBay. We want to connect this up to our BES SBE...

The handset is showing as running in the BES Management console, but no email data is transferring in either direction...the Browser is working though, so GPRS is functioning...

    Any help appreciated...

    Cheers
    Dan

You would need to refer to the documentation that came with your BES. Welcome to pinstack BTW

Also you'd have to add the device to your BES by it's PIN either OTA of Plug it into the server or BES connected desktop PC.

done all that and the device looks as though it is working, but when you try and send an email to someone on the same BES or just off the device it fails...

Looks like a call to Vodafone is in order in the morning!!
