    hi

would like to seek for professional advice here.

I have a location A installed with Notes 6 and have a BES within the same office. Users in this location A, having email end with @abc.com.a has also subscribed to a local telco on BB mail service.

I have now another site (B) installed with Notes 6 too. Users here having a email end with @abc.com.b would like to have BB service.

intend to use the BES in location A since I can have a VPN tunnel built between the 2 sites. question is that ther are 2 different telco here, each site has their own and that do not wish to incur roaming cost.

any suggest on the best approach?

thanks in advance for your help.

    cheers

I would recommend getting another BES license and set it up at site b in the same way you did for a. Then they can both have BES, mind you you will have to buy a new server license, and CALs for each bb.

    Hope that helps!

My company had over 10 notes servers scattered in the us/canada. We used 4 different email address, company1.com, company2.com, company3.com and company4.com. We put one bes in the main co-lo and have mpls between all offices. To make things more 'fun', we use 6 different carriers.
No roaming charges as the carriers require an unlimited data plan for bes use.
I don't know if your 2 instances of Lotus Notes are standalones, but there should be a way bring them together via the vpn connection. Then you only need to have the 1 bes license. Though you would still need the cals.

Same here ... we have about 30 sites around the world - connect the notes server and use one BES...
