recently company made an acquisition, wondering what is the easiest and fastest way to migrate the blackberries obviously a complete wipe out , but do not wish to add them one by one ( being advised by BB) . Running on MSFT exchange... Any other options for faster transition?

You still have to activate them 1 by one. You can eiter do it via USB or OTA. The OTA option would allow you to do more than 1 at a time but, you still have to do them by hand. This is not going to be quick and simple. If it was me I would do them OTA but, I would set the accounts up before hand and give the key a 72 hour or more window before that expire to activate them. I would also have then laid out and start them 1 by 1 but not doing more then 10-20 at a time as you want them to finish in a reasomable time. You could alos have others doing the activation to other than yourself. This would help out and make things go faster.

Hope your Carries/telco provisions them correctly. It is an issue here 1/3 all devices are provisioned wrong.

You can use the BlackBerry Resource Kit to add users via command line...so, if you have someone that is savvy with VBScript/PERL, etc. - you should be able to do it quite easily.

You will need to install the Besuseradminservice on your server, then run the Besuseradminclient to do the rest.

    Code:
     -add : add user
         -u <user name> : unique user name
         -b <BES instance> : target BlackBerry Enterprise Server
[-group <group name>] : group for the user
[-pin <PIN>] : PIN for the user
         [-w <password>] : user's activation password
[-wrandom] : generate and email a random enterprise activation password
[-infofile <filename>] : over-rides enterprise activation email values,
             format is: [Subject=<value>]
                        {[[Body=]<value>]}
(within 'Body' the string '$p' will be substituted with the
password, the string '$x' will be substituted with the expiry time)
[-wt <expiry time>] : activation password expiry time (number of hours)
         [-it_policy <ITPolicy>] : ITPolicy for the user
[-cs] : clears user's stats if exists in database
         [-pimaddr <ServerName>!!<RelativePathToDataDirectory>] : Address book
             database location for the user
         [-pimmemo <ServerName>!!<RelativePathToDataDirectory>] : Memo database
             location for the user
[-domaddrsvr <ServerName>] : Remote address book server to
                                      look up the user
[-addrsub <AddressBookName>] : Address book name to be synchronized
         [-i <input filename>] : over-rides '-u', '-b', '-pin', '-w',
             '-it_policy', '-pimaddr', '-pimmemo' and '-addrsub'
             format is:
             <username>,<besname>[,<PIN>[,<password>[,<ITPolicy>[,<groupname>
             [,<pimaddr>[,<pimmemo>[,<addrsub>]]]]]]]
