Hey I am looking to block face book as I have noticed data usage go way up after our carriers pushed that link to download facebook to my devices. So I am looking for a way to block it from running. Anyone done this?

If your forcing your users to use a proxy to get to the internet on their BB's then just block Facebook on the proxy.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ HiJimy, I actaully just deleted the app from my 8800 altogether. But if you're looking at keeping the app and just limiting the data iit uses, maybe one of above suggestions may be better.

If you are on BES you can set the two I.T Policy items:

    1. Security Policy Group > Disallow Third Party Application Download = TRUE
    2. Service Exclusivity Policy Group > Allow Other Message Services = FALSE
