    Blackberry IT Policy query

    Hi

I have a new setting (password related) that I wanted to apply to all users. Everyone is currently on the Default policy.

So, I have created a test policy and piloted to some users, all looks good.

I now need to apply this IT Policy to everyone.

    So, I was thinking of

    a) Renaming "Password_Test" to "Password Policy"
    b) Applying Password Policy to all users by highlighting them in the BES and selecting "Assign IT Policy"

    Does this sound ok?

Question is, if I create new users, will they pick up the Default Policy still? How can I change this?

Yup, that sounds fine. When you create new users, use the "New Users Wizard" and you can assign policies prior to activation beginning. Or, they will activate with the default policy and you can easily update them to the policy of your choice and resend the IT policy to the device.

How about making a copy of the Default policy (in case we need to roll back) and just amending the default policy?
