    Blackberry Enterprise issue

Hi all! I'm new here and this has probably been answered before, but here goes. Every time I upgrade mt OS, or download a program (i.e. google maps) I have to have my enterprise admin resend a password so I can reset my emial. Is there a way to avoid this, or am I stuck having to call the IT department every time??

    Re: Blackberry Enterprise issue

If you upgrade the handheld software you have no choice but to reactivate. Installing applications should not require a reactivation.

There is one thing you can do to reactivate yourself, without getting a password from your BES admin. Install Desktop Manager selecting the BES option and specify your mail server type (Exchange, Domino, or Groupwise). When DM starts it will try to connect to your local email client and if the device is not activated it will perform a wired activation. I do this all the time as I support and test BlackBerry devices.
