A quick bit of advice.
We have BES 4.1.3 installed and have activated the ENterprise Service Policy, whereby you can restrict devices that can activate on the BES by handset model, PIN number etc.

All working great until...

We had one user with an old 6230 model that couldn't activate, so we decided to choose to bypass the Service Policy, a setting that can be found in his user-properties on Blackberry Manager. All docs suggest that this is the way to get someone to bypass the restrictions imposed by the Service Policy.

Suddenly, the Dispatcher Service stopped and refused to stay on. Turns out that this is a known issue and advice is to NOT use the bypass settings for the users.

Anybody get stung by something similar, or know if this "feature" is fixed in SP4/5?
