    BESE and RIM "Libraries"?

I run my own exchange server and recently found out about the free single user BES, BESE. I called my carrier (cellular one) and asked if setting this up would hinder my email through them. They said it would not, but because of special "libraries" I would have to get from RIM that I would have to upgrade my package from the 30$ unlimited personal to the 50$ unlimited business. My question is, what are these "libraries" and if I did set up a server would they be able to determine that I am using a BES and in turn charge me more.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~i may be wrong but I was under the impression that there was something in the carrier provisioning that prevente BES on a BIS package. May be wrong.
