BES Server Time vs Device Time

    Hello,

We have our own BES server based in London. A user, who is in singapore, has a problem in that when they send a message it puts the time as that on the London server and NOT the time set on the actual device.

Is there a way of telling the server to use the devices time on the message? or any other way of ensuring it will arrive with singapore time on it and not london.

    Many thanks,

    Postiga

I may have to dig in our BES but I don't think it tells the BB the time. Usually it gets the time from the network or the user can change time zones on the BB itself.

If you are talking about forwarding or replying a message and the tagged original message has the BES' time zone stamping, then this is a known issue.

KB11008 - When forwarding or replying to a message, the timestamp for the original message appears incorrect

I think this is resolved in BES 4.1.3.
