Question BES OTA application upgrade issue

I wrote an application for my BB and every time I build a new version, I drop it in the approprite folder, and run apploader /reindex. BES' Software Configurations notes the change, and I can see the upgrade attempt in the policy logs.... however, after the COD is queued for deployment, this error appears:

[20000] (02/24 04:32:22.345):{0x1B48} {sean@*********, PIN=********, UserId=4}RequestHandler::HandleAPPDDataCommand - Send Application to device failed for entryid 64, "FF Device Reported a general failure installing the module".

Anyone got any ideas how to solve this?

We had the same problem.Workaround for us was to disable whitelisting because the update was not able to uninstall the previous version correctly. You can disable whitelisting by setting the top branch of the software configuration to "none" instead of "Deny All".
