Does your blackberry stay on initializing status or your account on the blackberry server?

After a couple of minutes your PIN should show up next to your name has that happened?

Have you checked the eventlog for errors, if you were using a BIS service first then are now moving across to a BES you will either need to update the default IT policy on the BES or wipe your handheld.

I had the same problem, and it was a permission issue. Try the KB article KB-04293 from blackberry support. I have the link but cannot post it. I used that article to check all of my permission settings and it starting working almost immediatly.

Also has the phone ever been on a BES server? Is this a second hand phone?

I usually wipe the handheld, immediatly activate for enterprise, and then push the service books for BIS. Not sure if this is required but has worked for me.

Interesting. I really don't want to wipe my handheld. I'm about to make this move within days.

    Re: BES Express

I had this exact same issue and it was something on the carriers end. Once I phoned my carrier (Cingular) and gave them the PIN from my devices (I had 2 that this was happening with), everything went through and we haven't had a problem since.

    Hope this helps.
