    Question BES Enterpris Activation doesn't rcv full mailbox

    When Enterprise Activation is done on a Hanheld it doesn't receive the entire mailbox that is currently on the Exchange server. What portion does it receive? A specific amount of data or a specific date range? Is there a setting to change this behavior?

    I know it does it by a certain date, I just don't remember how far back it goes. The other thing I could never figure out is how to get e-mail out of the folders.. So it'll sync the main box, but if you have folders it will sync the folder names, just not the e-mail inside the folders.

    I wanna say the time frame is 30 days.. I'm just not 100% sure on it.

    The answer is 7 days or 200 messages.

    think there is a registry hack to increase this a little but i don't know if it works for BES 4.1

    I know that on BES 4.0 for GW I am able to change what sync's to the device during wireless activations. I click on the BES server and go to server configuration and then properties, there's a message pre-population box that you can change the number of days or messages. Not sure if this is available for Exchange though.
