BES Exchange - sync different mail folders
I've been testing a 30day trial hosted BES (and exchange) by cortado. Everything worked fine so far (mails, calendar, tasks and contacts synchronize well!).
I'm also using BIS with 5 mail accounts.
My question: can I only synchronize my Exchange inbox? I would like to have several subfolders of the inbox where rules move in special mails. If I do so these mails don't show up on my bb (8310).
Anything I can do?
2. If I should not take the Cortado BES my exchange account will be erased. Have I got sth to do on my bb? or can I still use my BIS without having to do sth? Do I have to "deactivate" the Enterprise Activation or will that happen automatically when Cortado deletes my account??
Thx a lot -- and... the hosted BES is really great but ~20€/month.....I'll decide after the test period if I stick to it
To answer your first question you can sync other folders. Go into the BB Desktop Manager and select Syncronization (if memory serves me right) under there you can select your mail profile as well as what folders you want to sync up.
When I am in front of my terminal I will get a more specific procedure.
~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
Launch Desktop Manager (Main Menu)
Select "Email Settings"
You will see "Folder Redirection"
Select "Selected Folders" Click "Choose Folders" and select what folders you want to sync
hi thx.. but I want t osync subfolders of my BES inbox over the air not via DM
You can do this Over-The-Air.

thx for your answer.
when I click on folder redirection, I only get my BES mailadress (email@example.com). There's no way to expand it. Maybe because it is hosted BB exchange?
EDIT: Hey thx ... it works... forgot to choose the exchange account before trying to add the folder direction (also got some BIS accounts)
