BES Centralization & MAPI Traffic Considerations

    Everyone,

Ive currently got 3 BES 3.6 servers globally and 3 Exchange servers. We are currently looking at reducing this to 2 Exchange Servers and one BES... however when i spoke to T-Mobile the other day they told me the official line was to ensure i had sufficent bandwidth for the MAPI traffic.

They claim not to have any figures on the amount of traffic per user... which is understandable as it would depend on the amount of email the traffic sends and receives and its sizing.

Has anyone done any research into this ?

    Regards,

    Marador

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~less than 35milliseconds over the WAN link and if it is less than 10users. Anymore and you will have probs.
RIM does have a doc on this
