Question BES - Calendar Reminders - Default vs. "None"?

Have 8703e on BES. I am BES Admin.
Server on MS Win Server 2003 SP2.
Desktop on MS Win Pro SP2.
    Using MS Outlook on Desktop.
Calendar Reminders on Desktop set to "None".
Calendar Reminders on BB set to "None".
All Calendar Invites sent to BB have a Reminder for "15 Minutes", reguardless of what the sender had on the original invite. I have tested this having co-workers sending me invites with a reminder of "None" and it still comes in with a reminder of 15 minutes! Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
I do not want any calendar reminders at all!!
Have talked to Verizon Level 4 techs. - They have no idea.
Verizon has replaced BB 3 times.
    Problem still exists!!
I have googled internet with no luck on a fix.
I have searched RIM/BB for fix - no luck.
I have completed 3 complete "wipes".
First BB had OS Ver 4.0, 3 others have 4.1.XXX (newest).
I have spent hours on BES Manager looking for hidden setting - no luck.
Does anyone know what is causing this? And a fix?
    Help.......

Mike, are all of your appointments generated by yourself either on your BB or your desktop, or are some invites from others?

It seems the no reminder would apply only to appointments you inititate.

All invites come from spouse or other staff members. I rarely initiate any, when I do it is on the BB and they arrive to thier invitee at "none" - so outbound is fine.
It is just all the inbound invites are all tagged with a "15 minute" reminder.

    Thanks for the reply!!

Ask the spouse to send you an invite with the reminder set to None, and see if it arrives that way. If it does, then those sending you invites likely have theirs defaulted to the 15 minute reminder. I don't know if there is anything you can do about that, since it's not controlled by your BB or desktop. Let me know how that works out.

If necessary, you can PIN me at 32C22706 with you email address and I'll send you an invite with None as the reminder to see what happens.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~this might not be the best answer but it is something to think about---with verizon on the 4th or 5th phone exchange its considered a lemon and you get a free upgrade to the next phone up by same manufacture-- not a fix but an option

I had her send invite with reminder set to "none" and it arrived with a 15 minute reminder.
I will be contacting Verizon about a "lemon upgrade".

    Thanks!!!!!

why i can not post pm before i have 10 messages? i can not raply pm to questions that i am being asked by others - that is illogical way of thinking
