    Hi All,

Having problems activating BB OS 4.2 on a BES 3.6.3 server. The phone is connected via DM 4.6 and the client is not being activated. Had the client call and confirm she does have a BES data plan. However, we are still not able to activate her phone.

Does BES 3.6.3 work with BB handheld OS 4.2? I would think that it does, but we are starting to see this issue more and more.

It should work on BES 3.6.3. Did she install the Desktop Manager with the proper Exchange options?

Yeah,I am realizing that the old DM does not have the same usb driver as the newer DM and this is preventing the phones from being seen when tryin to activate the phone. If I install a new version of DM then the phone is recognized but the enterprise activation never starts. Yesterday I had another user that I was able to activate the email portion, but intellisync kept barfing on me with the new DM and the old thus preventing me from activating wireless calendat synching.I do think I may have convinced my boss that it is time for an upgrade, hopefully this issue will be resolved with the new server version. Thanks for the reply. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
