    BB Messenger enable/disable

    Hello everyone,

I'm running a BES Express server - but quite a newbie to the BES Environment. Just wondering if there is a setting to enable or disable the BB Messenger - and where the setting is? I feel I may have accidentially disabled it..

    Cheers,

What leads you to beleive its disabled?

If it's anywhere, check the settings in your IT Policy

    Re: BB Messenger enable/disable

Even if I have settings that allow OR just don't have any settings (default) I can't get BB messenger to come up.. Could it be service books? I'm really quite frustrated why BB Messenger isn't showing up.

Another thing is that if I try a OTA install of BB Messenger it doesn't ask me to install the applications - It just refreshes the page..

    Cheers

    Re: BB Messenger enable/disable

Yes - the result is BB Messenger showing up in the application list but not on the homepage of the device (No, it's not hidden) - so I can't run it..

    Re: BB Messenger enable/disable

I think the error may have something to do with MDS or something similar - does anyone have any experience with this? Presently I am browsing the 'net on my BB through my ISP's web profile, my 'MDS' one doesn't work..

    Cheers
