    hi,

    on BES 4.1.4 if i open an Attachment on the BB, the network between the BES an DOMINO Mailserver 6.5.x shows amazing traffic on Port 1352.

    AttachmentService on BES with default settings !!!!!

    100KB PDF opening on the BB -> networktraffic on Port1352 between BES an Mailserver is 350KB

    300KB .xls -> 950KB

    what is going on here ?
    if this is correct, i can not aktivate attachments for all costomers of my BES.

    please provide me with informations.

    There will be some overhead due to encryption of the traffic between the device and BES, though that does seem excessive.

    What BB model are you using (for reference) and how are you measuring the traffic?
