Do you know if you can change the Admin Password on a BES, if you can, have you encountered any problems/complications in doing so?

Any advice would be much appreciated

You will not have any problems. Just make sure that the account still can login interactively from the console afterwards. If your system was functioning properly prior to the password change, then it will work the same afterwards.

prickleypete is correct. The password change should not affect it. the only thing that ight make a difference is if you are not using a domain acount and you need to make sure that the password is change on all the other affected systems as they will not be able to talk when the password is changed. If you are using a Domain Account then there will be no problem.

By the way Welcome to pinstack.

Check your registry. I had to add the domain admin account and password in the registry. If you have done the same, you will have to go into regedit and find these entries and change them too.

If the BES was installed correctly it would have been done using a service account such as "BESadmin". If you performed the installation using this method all the BlackBerry services will be assisgned to that service accounts username and password.
