That's because no carrier has made an official announcement. Speculation, leaks, rumors, and hype are well... just that. I'd expect the pricing to be comparable to former Blackberry releases ~$200 newly released and subsidized and $300+ (easily $400) without contract.

The suretye BB devices seem to be $199.99 with a 2 year contract and the qwerty keyboard BB devices tend to be $299.99-$349.99. Sometimes there's a mail in rebate offered, but that can vary with each carrier. Upgrade pricing will depend on if you're eligible for an upgrade or not. If you're not eligible for an upgrade, then the price will probably be $449.99. Mind you, these prices are set in stone and are in no way stating that's what the carrier will charge. I'm just making a comparison to the current prices for BB devices that have been for the most recent BB devices when released.

It would make sense that tmob would get the black one though! Seeing that the pearl and that 8800 look like father and son

T-mobile International has already announced the 8800, and it's the Indigo.
