    .........it looks pretty bland. I took all the themes off of my 8830 to see what the display would look like. I hope nobody gets sick looking at the picture below.

    While in a menu type alt and thmn and you will get the same theme. Thanks to N8 for that secret.

    I have seen this on a 7100t and a 7730. This normally happens when you load the wrong theme on a device which I am guilty of not knowing I had the wrong theme.

    I used to do the ALT+THMN on my 8700 and it worked. I'm going to try it on my gf's 8100.

    CP's reply referenced a thread. It said on SureType devices to put them in MultiTap mode first. Have you tried that?

    I just did it N8's way. That's pretty neat. I wonder what other hidden tweaks there are in the BB?

    I did just learn the hard way when you're on the "Themeless Home Screen", if you have a model/OS that supports folders, don't try to add one. You'll get an error and be forced to do a reset.
