    Re: Using both 8800 & 8100

In fact I just plugged my 8100 up to charge....Have not used it since getting the 8800.

I am thinking about using it at work because of the its size and it is a great phone. Also at work I do most of my email duties from my laptop.

I'm thinking of using the 8800 when out of town when I have to respond to emails using the bb.

Its just a matter of switching the sim.

Are there any syncing issues when switching from the 8800 to the 8100??

You will have to register the email accounts accordingly with the different handheld you are on.

I used to switch all the time between an 8700 and 8100. I always used the switch device wizard on the Desktop Manager and never once had a problem with the sync. Now I use just the 8800. Had to sell the others to fund my addiction.

I just made that switch and had no issues. On my first sync with the 8800, I set MissingSync to overwrite the handheld.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~I used to swap all the time when I had the 7100 series devices. But it was only to update the new device with what was on the old one and to chat on a 7100T while waiting for replacement 7100T's or 7105T's.

I have not used the 7100T since getting the 8100 but since I want the 8800 I may be swapping on weekends when I don't want the bigger device LOL

I have the 8100 with TMO and the 8800 with Cingular. I don't use the 8100 as much as I used to since I bought the 8800. I couldn't get used to suretype. My contract with TMO will end soon, so I'll be selling my pearl.

I use both. One for a camera to send pics to my blog. The other to type with. Qwerty seems much more accurate to me ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

I really like both. Seems ok. Don't really like switching, but like them both. Use them both. Love the pearl. Love the 8800. Such is life.

    Re: Using both 8800 & 8100

Using the 8100 and 8700 and therfore I have 2 BIS accounts...1 for each and 1 sim card. I have noticed recently that I am missing emails on my 8100 that are sent to my M/S Outlook POP account. This happens intermitently about 5 missed emails in the last week. Not sure that switching between the two is the cause. Any ideas?
