trackball good thing

First off I'm not left handed, but I like using my balcberry with my left hand. The biggest issue was using it one handed with my left hand (espcially when driving) I think the trackball in the center will be great for that and will help those left handed people.goooo trackball!

I'm left handed and I find myself using my right hand to use the trackball more often than not.

Hi gruv, have you tried the 8100 simulator? I downloaded it and have been messing around, and I wouldnt mind having the pearl based on what Ive seen.

I dig the trackball. I thought I would be bummed on it because I like the wheel but I for one am already over the wheel. The trackball allows for side to side and up and down scrolling

As a Treo refugee, I'm not sure I see the advantages of a trackball over the five-way rocker with a center select button. That was the best I've ever had for one-handed operation. I can't operate the 8700 with one hand because of the need to press the alt button for lateral cursor movement.

I'm right handed and for some reason I use the Pearl almost exclusively with my left hand. It just feels better.

Trackball is more left handed friendly. It also allows you to use the phone one handed a lot better than a BB with a trackwheel. I tend to use my left hand a little more to move the trackball, but I do use my right hand as well.
