    tmo 8800 uneven keyboard backlight

on my [replacement] 8800, the keyboard backlighting is much brighter to the sides and bottom row

the one it has replaced had even lighting

[I also notice that the printing on the keys is different [the numbers are larger] they were both made in Canada]

I was sure I'd read about others having this issue but cant find it here on a search? was there a fix for this?

    thanks

These sound like 2 build issues of the phone. Uneven backlighting of the keyboard and text printed on the keys is hardly something that could be done through software. I guess you could open your BB up and try to adjust the fitment of your keyboard to make it light even. Or swap your keyboard with another 8800 all together with smaller print on the keys.

    thanks for the reply

the numbers dont bother me-- just commenting on the production variations

the keyboard light does a bit

I was hoping there was a fix-- like for the squeaky sides issues

    thanks
