T-Mobile Blackberry 8800 6 months from now?!

Just got off the phone with my local T-mobile store and asked when they would be getting the 8800 and he told me that Cingular has 6 month exclusive on the phone!? Cna anyone verify this?!

And a Cingular store today said they aren't getting the 8800 until fall...

Don't believe store clerks.

You would have a better shot of taking a year calendar, throwing a dart at it, and being closer to the actual date of launch than 98.9% of the store clerks.

Hate to say it, but N8 is dead right.
I have a GREAT tmo rep. I asked her Friday what she had heard about the 8800 and she admitted that I would know before she did as I am on Pinstack more than her time allows her to get on here! Lol

I just threw 5 darts and here is what I got:

Dart 1: January 12th, 2007 (hmm)
Dart 2: Hit the wall
Dart 3: Novemeber 23rd, 2007
Dart 4: May 8th, 2007
Dart 5: Hit one of my salesmen who was walking by in the jugular and have to take him to the hospital.

I would consider that jugular hit as valid, use the date that salesman gets out of the hospital as release date.

Rumor is that if you get the 9k series when it comes out, you have to go into the store, sit in a chair that looks like it came from the Matrix, and have it implanted into your head, so then there is no need to actually carry a device again! I am first in line for that badboy!

If it'll be 6 months before TMO gets it, does that mean it'll be 2010 before Verizon gets it??

Sounds about right for VZW. As for T-mobile, I think we'll see it before six months...

Rumor around camp is that one of you CDMA carriers are going to have it by the end of Quarter 2 this year...

And as of right now, it looks as if VERIZON is going to be the one carrying it...So, I would say a CDMA version will be out by the end of June.
