    My BB isn't keeping schedued appointments over 3months old. So, when I sync my BB to my computer it wants to delete all my outlook calender events except for the current 3months. I'm using desktop manager version 4.3.0.15. When I was using the previous version I didn't have this problem.

    I use my outlook calneder for scheduling of myself and my field engineers. I input data both in outlook and on the BB, depends on where I'm at at the time, so I need to be able to sync both ways. For scheduling purposes I need to have access to all past events, for example say from Jan 06 due to a biennial requirement of the client but not necessarily the exact same day, so I can't set re-occuring dates. I don't like re-occuring dates any way, they clutter up the calender.

    Any ideas?

    did you set your BB calendar to "forever" ?
    Calendar \ Options \ General Options - Keep Appointments: Forever, 15, 30, 60, 90 days

    I can do that in email settings, but not in the calender

    I had the same issue with my bb8830.
    On my bb I changed it as follows:
    Calendar/Options/Keep Appointments/Forever

    I've used the help function and it gives me the same directions you did. By I don't have the keep appointments option.

    It could be that you have an earlier version of desktop manager. I have the bb8830 and recently upgraded to v4.2.2.176. maybe that it the issue

    I'm using desktop manager 4.3.0.15. One of the guys in my office is using the same version and doesn't have the "keep appointment" option either. He has a BB7130e and an older ops system on the phone.

    ok, I just looked at one of my engineers phones. He has an 8830 (mine is a 8800) he uses the 4.2.2.14 desktop manager. When I go to calender/options he has the "keep appointments" option, I don't. I downloaded DM 4.2.2.14 hoping it would fix the issue some how, it didn't. I've turned it off, pulled the battery nothing works.

    Any ideas?

    it's not anything to do with desktop manager, but more the version of your OS on the 8800. I haven't used one so I'm not sure which versions would or would not have that option. But you could certain try installing the latest version and see if it helps.

    I checked that earlier today. I have the latest one.

    I ended up doing the big wipe, it's fixed now. Seems like killing an ant with a sledge hammer solution, but it worked.

    I can't get the "Keep Appointments" option to show on my BB. I have the 8703e from Telus and I sync with Google using GoogleSync. I really want to set "Keep Appointments" to FOREVER but this option won't appear. I upgraded the O/S...no luck. I set up an email with Telus...no luck. HOW CAN I GET THIS OPTION TO APPEAR?
