    shortcut to "restrict my identity"?

I'm using a forwarding service so that many of my office calls will hit my cell. When I return many of these calls I don't want clients getting my mobile number via caller ID.

So for now, when placing that type of call I've been going through the menus and it takes a bit longer and I often forget to turn it back off on - kinda a PITA.

So is there a "*82" type code I can punch in just before a call to RESTRICT my called ID for just the call that follows the input of the code and then resumes normal operation for every call thereafter?

I thought it was *67 or *70. I think it depends on your carrier though.

I think he means, how to "Restrict Idenity" on the phone options. Well, atleast the 8100 has it.

You're looking for a code to punch in prior to the number you're dialing. On ATT it is *67 then the number. This will block your number identity.

He already knows how to. He was asking for the "shortcut" as the title implied
