Hi!! I just bought the Blackberry 8800 from a friend that was having some $$ troubles. I've got it set up the way I like it now, but he has 3 different emails set up on the phone & I can't delete the accounts... he couldn't even figure out how to do it.
    Any thoughts??

    Many thanks in advance.

Are you on a BIS server? If so your friend needs to go onto the BIS server, delete his old accounts so that you can set up yours there. Otherwise the accounts are there to stay.

Another way to try would be to delete the email service books:
    Options>Advanced Options>ServiceBooks>
here you will see the email accounts>hit menu and delete ALL email accounts.

You will still need to logon to your BIS server to set up yours however. Hope this helps.

Or your friend can call his\her service provider and have them close his\her BIS account, then you can sign up a new one with your emails!

Thanks, I tried this method, but it won't allow you to delete or change the accounts.
