    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
$500 or in british Ł250 approx. That's actually not too bad. The 8700 retailed here from a vodafone store was Ł350 and that's network LOCKED. That's $700.

Hmm, maybe I might buy 2 and sell the other for a small profit here.

Am very happy for you new 8800 owners.

The screen resolution could very well be better but my eyes can't tell any difference lol. The fonts look crisper however pics don't look any different to me.

GPS is there withint Settings>Options>Advanced Settings
I just can't locate any sattelites. I really want to test it with BB maps though.

Hardest acclimation so far is the typing.

OK. I stand corrected and found the well hidden GPS. I was able to lock on to 7 satellites. Now I cant locate the BB Maps application - is it well hidden too?

Hey Wendy, I switched from a 7130c. I'm loving the fanciness/sleekness/professionalism of it so far haha. I'm getting better with the typing although at first I didn't like how close the keys were. For some reason the OS seems sluggish to me. Switching between apps on this the hourglass always comes up as opposed to on my 7130c. Everyone has said it's a lot faster but I haven't experienced that yet.

The only complaint I have so far is GPS and that could be my fault. I live in a dorm so it could very well be that since there's a floor on top of me I don't have clear sky above me to get a signal *shrug*. I'm just hoping the unit isn't faulty

Did you have to be outside to find 7 sattelites?
