    Operator installs software without permission?

I've just picked up my Vodafone 8800 and suddenly two new icons have appeared; Yahoo messenger and Yahoo search.

Is it likely that these two apps have been installed over the air by Vodafone? If so, what are the privacy implications of this?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~um. Its an agreement with yahoo and vodafone. You can take it off I believe...not sure... But its something that they send to you and you can use them if you'd like or you can always just hide it. Tmobile did it to use with handango applications
