Seems more like the pearl minus the camrea and a full qwerty keyboard. But with or without the camera, the features and performance should be great across the board.

Kudos to blackberry, I hope this draws those potential users who wanted a smaller bb minus the camera

the reason i would want a camera is usually they will package in the ability to send a multimedia message (since i can't send attachments). then i could send pictures and ringtones from the web to my wife's razr.

I know the feeling Joe. There have been tons of times I wish my 8700r had a camera. Missed a lot of great moments.

I feel your pain. I dropped my 8700 and it started missing calls occasionally. I went online and got a new unlocked one for about $200. Now I will have to buy an 8800 when it comes out (I don't qualify for an upgrade yet).
