Wow that is a sweet phone... i have the Pearl, the one thing about this that i notice, is no camera... most likely due to the corporate world not allowing them, but still.. i love what blackberry has done to keep up with the market!

That is an attractive device. It doesn't need a camera. Cameras on phones= wack.(Did some of y'all miss the memo?)

That will be my next wireless purchase.

Ha. It is a nice option. I get frustrated with low res images, though. I'd rather have a digi with transflash so I can capture the image at at least 4 mp and then transfer to my bb (via tf) if need be.

Why do some people ABSOLUTELY HATE the idea of a camera on a phone?? If you don't wanna use it, don't.. No big whoop. Its always a nice option to have. I rarely use my Bluetooth, but I'm glad its there, just in case...

Bottom line, that phone is a good look. Phone or no phone it looks great. I just hope that Cingular gets it first and the OS doesn't have the problems of the Pearl.

wonder if BB will release the 4.2 OS for us 8700 guys, being that there is a 8800 on the horizon. Sad though because I just bought my BB 2 weeks ago, now I gotta beg the wife to let me get this new one. And on the subject about the camera, don't know if you guys know this, but we Hollywood BB users in the business can't walk into sneak previews or test screening with a phone that has a camera. I know were a little different from you government users, but we have the same issue when it comes to camera phones.

And, I hope we (Cingular) get this one first. Because I'm not interested in the e62 or the i607. Blackberry is the standard in the data device market to me.

Reasons I think cameras on Phones are STUPID:
1. takes up extra space - the smaller the better and putting a camera in just takes up space. I dont mind having something bigger and heavier to carry around like a BB vs a rzr, but if I can cut space by not having some stupid camera then why not?!?!
2. costs money - while I am willing to shell out $$ for a BB but if I could save money by not having a useless camera, why not?!?!
3. camera phone pictures suck! - if I want to take pictures I will bring my digital camera. what is the point in having a picture if the quality is so awful you cant stand to look at it!

There you have it. My reasons, so take it or leave it!
