Question Need Help with 8830 Shortcuts

My wife picked up Verizon's 8830. Looking for shortcuts to 1). Switch phone from vibrate to audible ring without having to go into Profiles. 2). To be able to lock keypad without having to go into the menu itself. I have the Pearl and both of these features are easily achieved thru shortcuts - without having to access menu / options. Has anyone found the 8830's full / comprehensive user's guide ?

Re: Need Help with 8830 Shortcuts

Only thing I've found so far is "K" to lock (that's good!), but to vibrate and back I only see "F" to go to profiles then switch from there. It might save you one click, but I agree with you. Kinda odd since on my 7130e you can hit * to lock and # to switch to and from vibrate.

    I'll keep searching.

By the way, I found this great tip sheet! It's for the 8800, but I assume it's very similar as far as shortcuts go.

To lock apparently you can press and hold the mute key while not on a call.
