    I'm sure as long as you're running 4.5 OS you can run 8GB.

    I tend to agree with the 8GB answers. I have a BlackBerry Pearl 8100 running 4.2 and it has no problem with my 4GB SD card.

    So are we sure? Because I am looking to increase from 2GB to either 4 or 8GB.

    anyone one can comment about the media card speed? class 4 or 6 for the media card used in BB Curve? I know the faster the better but class 6 is much expensive than class 4 even class 2....

    Just installed an 8GB card and it works with 4.5.037. The only downside it appears to drain the battery a little faster than usual. I do not know what class it is, but I purchased it on eBay for $35.00 including shipping!
