    Micro SD Card

I am quite new to BB and to my 8800. When getting the BB, I also dutifully went off and bought a 2Gbyte Micro SD card which is recognised just fine in the BB. My question is this - can the media card also be used to store core BB data like database stuff etc. or is it really only for pics, music etc.? I am just wondering what would happen if, one day, I use up all the BB core storage space - can I expand out onto the Media Card?

i think you can make new folders and use it as a "flash drive" to store say powerpoints, excel files, etc

If an app supports storing to and retrieving from the card, yes. None of the built-in apps support this though.

    Re: Micro SD Card

thank you bbpearlrox and takeshi - I guess from what you are saying, that the core built-in apps will only use the main memory and not the expanded memory. Not a problem for me right now and nice to know.
    thanks
