Question Memory Leaks, any thoughts Stackers

Good morning and happy holidays stackers, I'm running the ATT OS 4.2.1.79 and I am experiencing some serious memory leaks, now is this normal or what, this morning I had 22mg and now I have 19mg and counting down, I just did the Alt-LGLG and a battery pull and I should get some memory back but why does this happen, do i have to update my os to another one perhaps, any insights would be appreciated.

If you are using Google Maps I have the naswer for you. It took me weeks to find the leak but that was the culprit and I can tell you how to fix it.

Also Use a Memory card for all music pictures and stuff like that, I removed all Languages I don’t use, No Games, and the demo video, all this can save space. On BBs with a Camera set the camera to save any pictures take to the Media Card. Set the Auto On/Off for first thing in the morning for about 5 minutes Off time. And pull the battery once in a While. I got away once a week with the Pearl. I am doing 2 to 3 times a week with the Curve.

    Also,
There is a service advisory regarding the 8300 and using the Switch Application function. This is a known memory leak. If you do this 25 times, you may even loos data.
I cannot post the link to the BB KB but if you search KB13814 you will see this service advisory.
