    looking for voice dialing help

I have had my 8830 for over a month now without any issues related to voice dialing. In the last few days anytime I try to initialize my voice dialing (via, bt headset or the main application screen) it stalls and will not start up. I end up having to go to my address book to find the contact or dial manually. I have tried basic solutions like restarting without success. Any solutions out there? Thank you in advance for the help.

Have you tried a battery pull reset? It might have gotten hung up on something in the software, and a reset would clear it out.

Re: looking for voice dialing help

Confirmed. 8830 "initializing" error when attempting BT Voice Dialing from Handset or BT Earpiece will fix if you perform a battery pull while the unit is ON.

This problem occurred for me when I was setting up two 8830s for users once I loaded the Addressbook from Outlook.

    Great fix! Thanks.
