    Looking for good media player

I was on a long flight today and I was tired of having to select songs to then play them with the player that came with the system. Is there another media application available that is more user friendly?

MiuTunes may cost money but its worth it! Its the best media player there is! If you don't want to spend money xplayer is the next one you would want.

Thanks for the advice! Looks fantastic! As soon as I get my phone back up and running from a failed upgrade to OS 4.05 I will install it! Will it work just fine with OS 4.5?

I was thinking ... will the new OS 4.5.0.37 allow me to listen to stereo music with my bluetooth headphones?

Thanks for the suggestion; I purchased a bluetooth headset and it's kool to finally be able to listen to music in stereo on the 8800. But I have the following problems:

    1. How do I allocate more space on the micro sd card to store music for the myutunes library?

    2. How do I deleted the music library found in the media/music player? I tried and while the file looks empty the songs are still there!

    Thanks!

If they aren't in a format that the BB media player plays, then you can't see it. MiuTunes plays all different types of formats, so maybe that's what you meant? Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean.

What I meant is that when I go to copy more music over to the miutunes library, they stop being copied over as the folder cannot get bigger! I have a 2GB card in there and I have only 887mb available for that folder. Then if I got o the blackberry media/music folder and delete the music from there, by removing the sd card and installing it in my pc for the data removal, when I reinstall it in the phone and I go back to the blackberry media/music folder all the misc I juts deleted is still there!
What I have are 2 exact music files, one for miutunes and for for the media player!

Try deleting them from your phone.

I guess if this is the only way I will spend a few days deleting them ... !

UPDATE: I deleted the files in the blackberry player and so went all the files in miutunes. I contacted support for miutunes and they told me that their application works with the music stored in the blackberry media player. Therefore I suggest that if you have miutunes you do not delete the playlists/music in the media player as it will also be deleted in miutunes.

Guess that makes sense, did that solve your problem?
