    'invisible' mp3 files

I installed a 2GB microSD card in my 8800. Prior to installation, I directly loaded about 650 MB of mp3 files on the card. After booting up the BB, I could find the MP3 files using Menu > Explore, and could even play them. However, a day later, when I went back to play the mp3 file, the directory appeared to be blank. All the folders are there, but appear to be empty. If I connect to the PC using Desktop Manager, I can see all the files, but I can't see them by browsing on the BB itself.

Any advice would be most welcome. Thanks for your help.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~that happened to me the other day. I thought I lost all my songs and pics. Did a battery pull and everything was back to normal.

I did try that, but did not help with the problem.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~try dumping your mp3 files and reloading them through media manager. I'm using the new DM with Roxio.

Thank you, Cypher. Your idea worked perfectly.
